Moths and birds to start off June!

JUNE 1, 2024:

Read on to see photos from the most productive walk of the season yet here in Arkansas, with highlights included a heard-only CERULEAN WARBLER again and many photographed birds.

Additionally, we spotted many interesting moths on campus today! Can you spot the Luna Moth on the Opera in the Ozarks sign? This was only my second ever!

We also spotted this beautiful moth in the grass below the sign — my lifer Io Moth!

As well as my lifer Blinded Sphinx which literally looked like a crumpled up leaf on the window — such incredible camouflage!
