Schlosspark Schönbrunn

Vienna, Austria

semi-overcast 85 °F

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7:

This afternoon I took a walk from our hotel in Vienna to Schönbrunn Park (near the Palace) for sightseeing and birding. It was fairly quiet bird-wise but I did get a few photos of more commmon species as can be seen here on the eBird checklist:
https://ebird.org/checklist/S191116226

The park was exceptionally beautiful with far-reaching views over the city of Vienna.

The surrounding neighborhood is also beautiful:

A great day out and about! Bird-of-the-day to the Hooded Crows which I hadn’t seen in a number of years prior to this trip.

Happy birding,
Henry
