An afternoon in Bratislava and auf wiedersehn, Wien!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 8:
A rare non-birding post today — I took the train to Bratislava, Slovakia which is an hour away from Vienna for a day trip to a new country for me. I ended up walking around Old Town, touring the Bratislava Museum, and walking up the hill to the castle. A very cool experience in my twenty-eighth country visited! Here are some photos from my day:
And a Viennese house beer to end the day once I was back to the city — not a beer guy but had to try it. 
Finally, a few last photos from the rest of the program week, including singing at the Musikverein as part of this conducting apprentice program. 
Such incredible places to visit!!!!
Then, on Sunday, August 11 I take three flights across the pond to make it all the way to Sun Valley, Idaho for my annual vacation out there! I am SO excited for the hiking, family, birds, and friends to be seen out there.
