Last Oak Park Bird Walk!!

Another amazing day of spring migration here in Illinois, kicked off by my last Oak Park Bird Walk of high school!

Overall, a whopping 54 species were seen on the bird walk, the greatest total of any bird walk within Oak Park!

Later today, this male BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER was a great surprise shortly before I got on the train to go downtown!

I saw a red-headed woodpecker at the Botanic garden in the Barbara brown reserve. It was a beautiful bird.
