Days 14-16: San Marino
Monday 18 June 2018 83 °F
Yesterday, on Sunday, I visited a new country: San Marino, a tiny independent state nestled atop a high mountain in the middle of the Italian peninsula! It was STUNNING!
This beautiful BLACKCAP posed oh so nicely for me:
As did this BLACK REDSTART, a really fun species to observe:
Beautiful cat that posed for me:
EURASIAN JACKDAW:
Overall it was a beautiful experience. Bird-of-the-day to an unphotographed TREE PIPIT, which was a life bird for me, with runner-up to the BLACK REDSTART! Two weeks to go here in Italia!
Good birding,
Henry
