Montrose with Kim

On thursday, I went to Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary again with my friend Kim! It was quite good, but my camera died halfway through so not many photos.

The bird highlight for me was photographing this showy YELLOW WARBLER. Runners-up for the day go to Sedge Wren and Ruddy Turnstone.

Last Oak Park Bird Walk!!

Another amazing day of spring migration here in Illinois, kicked off by my last Oak Park Bird Walk of high school!

Overall, a whopping 54 species were seen on the bird walk, the greatest total of any bird walk within Oak Park!

Later today, this male BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER was a great surprise shortly before I got on the train to go downtown!
